The Lost World

Velociraptors Pack of six from Tamiya 1/35 scale

The velociraptors' victim is an infant Parasauolophus from the 1/35 scale Mesozoic creatures from Tamiya.

Notice the human figure with an arm raised up holding his hat the other hand holding a binocular standing below the bird nest fern for shelter?
It was borrowed from the 1/35 scale Tyranosaurs diorama set.

They are all hand-painted then finish with dry brushing technique. They are displayed in a planted terrarium( 1 feet Exo-Terra tank with 2 glass doors).

If you need me to teach u pls call 9326 2724 for details . $40 per session .
Each session is 3 hours, all materials not included but u may borrow my airbrush, compressor and some tools ( terms and condition apply).

Mesozoic creatures (the crocodile only ,diorama not included)from Tamiya

The Crocodile is hand-painted using Tamiya Acrylic Paint. The diorama base is actually mend for my future millitary figure. Now I teach u how to do this Display diorama base:

  1. It is made of styrofoam using blade to trim it to shape.
  2. Coated a layer of white cement(construction building type) to be my sort of primer to cover ugly hole and shape.
  3. Using my Airbrush , I spray a coat of Dark brown then dry-brush with red brown followed by a lighter color brown (From Dark brown thin down with white color).
  4. The back and the two side was then painted semi -gloss black.
  5. At the surface was spread with Dark earth soil effect texture paint from Tamiya brand.
  6. The grass was done using brush that was painted green, cut to size and glued (I'm using white glue) to the base.
Now U have your own diorama display base.

A cat that looks like Garfield

This was drawn on 26 Febuary 2006 , using graphite pencils on A4 size photo copier paper .

My Favourite Betta smaragdina

Photo above is a male Betta smaragdina.

This an extremely beautifull wild betta unfortunately it is rare species from Thailand. It is also rarely sold in singapore ornament fish retail shop, but i manage to get a few pairs ( from Clementi Blk 328).

B. smaragdina's can grow to 6 cm in length. The male & female look alike and brightly colored but the female's anal fin is shorter and the masking are not as much as male's . Like betta splendens (those fighting fish sold in aquarium shop ) , they build nest bubbles on the water surface. It prefers soft water , lots of floating plants to hide and temperature of about 28 degree celcius

It's habitat is in stretches of water like paddy fields, small ponds and marshes between clumps of plants.

Noon's crashing waves

This is drawn using mainly Rembrandt soft pastel (cost me more than $100 to get the cardboard set of General selection with 90 half pastel ) on (11 inches x 9 inches ) 600Cw silicon carbide waterproof abrasive electro coated paper with charcoal pencil and white pastel pencil to do some details and highlights. Noon's crushing waves is drawn on 2 October 2009 with my signature on it.

This is also my first time using soft pastel and i like it as it is easy to do blending unlike oil pastel that I used before.

Chilli Red hmpk spawn

Chilli red hmpk male X Cambodian Red double tail hm

They spawned on 16 may 2009 and maybe about 100 - 130 eggs .... looks quite little lol.. . I predict that the fry will not be as red and clean as their father, cus the mother is cambodian and she carries iridescent through it's body.

This pair was bought from kelson Say on 5 may 2009, he's the owner of Kelson bettas at Roxy square 1 #02-20, you may call him at 9338 3584 ( opposite parkway parade shopping centre) .

Photo of me and Tweety

This is a Hen lutino peachface parrot. I bought it home somewhere at the middle of last year I think... it is very sweet and cute girl and quite obedient also. I got it when it's still in the weaning period but still have to feed it with the handfeeding formula. It eat..and sleep...eat and sleep...very quiet not much noise. The handfeeding period is quite time consuming and needs lots of attention. I also tried to teach her to say it's name, as every time i approach to play or to feed her, I call her name tweety . Patience and lots of love is wat you really need and believe tat it will say it name someday in the future .. and yes..!! it knows how to say it's name, Tweety( after so many month after the weaning period ) but still in the same year as i bought her in 2008 .

Now 15 may2009, it is working hard to say "hello tweety" and tat is wat I say when i approach her . The words of "hello" part is still not clear...and only time will tell if it is a talented talking peachface parrot( as it is very difficult to get a talking peachface parrot in Singapore). Maybe I am the lucky person to get her. I really doted her..i bring her outside for a walk without tying anything to her leg but with the both wing's feather cut. It stick to me without flying away unless something /someone scares it. Most of the time it usually stay with me without problem( flying away).that why I love and doted her alot..it have one of the best personality.
